Chrissy needs a new home

Our neighbor Judy has let us know about her dog Chrissy, who is an 8 year old blue heeler who loves everybody. She also loves her ball and falls asleep with it in her mouth. Unfortunately, she has a disease called "SARDS" (sudden acquired retinal degeneration) which has left her completely blind. She gets around just fine. She still plays in the yard with her ball, which we put bells inside so she can find it. The reason Judy is looking to place her is she has 3 other dogs. Her other female, a Dachshund, once in awhile has a run in with Chrissy and Judy has to break it up! Chrissy would be great with kids. She would play all day if she has someone throw a tennis ball to her. Judy has a doggie door and she goes in and out of it with no problem.
