Chihuahua Found, Needs Good Home

A small Chihuahua weighing about 6 pounds was found around the library at Audelia and Church in early December.  Amy, who found her, has been trying to find her owner with no success and is now hoping to place her for adoption with a loving family.  She is calling the little dog "Holly" since she was found during the holiday season.  She was not wearing a collar and is not microchipped, but thanks to Amy is now current on her vaccinations.  She is a very good girl, and will make some deserving family a wonderful pet!  If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl or have any information regarding her owners, please call Amy at 214-208-7976 or email at aerschen@themarketingarm.com.  This is a recent picture of "Holly".

Found Pair of Beautiful Dogs

This German Shepherd and possible Great Pyrenees mix were found on the evening of December 27th by a resident on Plano Road. They were wearing no collars and neither has a microchip. If you have information or see a posted sign in the area, please contact Greg: 214-808-9191 and also Petwatch: petwatch@highlandmeadowsna.org

Thanks to an observant neighbor who noticed a "Lost Dog" ad on CraigsList that fit their description, these two dogs have now been reunited with their family!

Astro the cat is missing from Wallbrook

Troy on Wallbrook sent us the following information:  This is a picture of our cat Astro, who has been missing for a couple of days. She's a female domestic shorthair, grey and white (no tabby markings), declawed, about 12 years old. She's a 100% indoor cat and normally shows no interest in leaving the house -- we're very worried about her.

If you see this pet, please call Troy at 214-348-7052.

Ri the basenji Terrier mix is missing

Terry has reported and her 20- pound, female basenji Terrier mix got out of her yard yesterday and was last seen on Sunland, across NW Hwy last night (12/4).  Ri looks kind of like a little reindeer or fox.  She's an indoor dog and is probably frightened being outside.  Ri runs very fast, so she may be anywhere in the neighbor hood.  Please call Terry if you see Ri at 469-569-5530 (c) or 214-341-5169 (h).

Calico kitten found at Bacardi and Lubbuck

Our neighbor, Laurel, sent us this message:  We found a kitten in our garage on the night of Saturday, Nov.17th. We live on the corner of Bacardi Drive and Lubbock. It appears to be 4-5 mos. old and we think it is a girl, be we are unsure. The kitten was hungry and trying to get out of the cold. She is VERY friendly and loves to be held, comes when called, and when allowed to leave the garage she doesn't travel very far. This make us believe that it is someone's lost pet. We are hoping that you can help us find it's owner, or someone who can adopt it because we are unable to adopt it ourselves.
Breed: Calico; Mostly grey with mottled peach coming through in places, Peach marking above face, short hair coat
Age/sex/weight: 4-5 mos? We think it is a female/ 2lbs?
Spayed or neutered: unknown
Shots: unknown, we have not sought any medical care
Live inside or outside: Outside (in garage); when we let it out of garage, stays near the house
Litter box trained: unknown
Personality description: VERY friendly, purrs alot, loves to be held and lay on your lap, comes running when you call it, loves to rub up on legs, very sweet, curiously plays with objects like a kitten
Behavioral problems: None at all

Please let us know if you need any further information from us. Please call if you have any information on this kitten, or are interesting in fostering/adopting - Laurel  at 214-927-6202.

Found Young, Small Dogs - Well Behaved

Kerry on Rolling Rock has found a pair of small 'terrier type' young dogs.  They are cute, well behaved and seem to be crate trained.  He believes that they are siblings.  If their owners cannot be located, they will be available for adoption as a pair.  If you know who these dogs belong to, please contact Kerry by email at texasharleys1@yahoo.com  or his neighbor Clarice at  cjjackson1208@yahoo.com.
