Found Pets

Are you missing a couple of Whippets?    A neighbor found them in the Highland Meadows neighborhood and they are now located at VCA Lindley Animal Hospital @ 8518 Plano Road.  

Reported today by Jennifer, on Cactus near Rolling Rock:

"I found this doggie in my alley this afternoon."

(This is in the area of Hackney, Cactus, and Rolling Rock.)

"He's very sweet and obviously house trained.  He's got a red collar and isn't neutered. It looks like there is a phone number on his collar but it's too faded to make out (214-938-XXXX maybe?)   Will try to see if he's chipped tomorrow."

Tan dog found on Eden Roc

Jennifer had found a dog on Eden Roc near Capri. Her neighbor called animal control, the dog has a number on its collar and they were able to identify the type of dog but had no owners name on file. We believe it is a neighbors dog and we didn’t asked animal control to come get him. We are hoping he will find his way home. Dogs found, Wed March 28th

Found this evening, Wed March 28th:

Two dogs, both approximately 15 pounds were found on Walnut Hill near Bryson.  One is a terrier mix with one blue eye and one brown, the other is a pug mix.  Cogg who found them can be reached at 214-418-1141.

And a VERY overweight and friendly female black dog with some white, no collar or tags, was found by Megan on Pandora Dr.  Her phone is 719-213-7635.

Found Dogs

Tammy in the 8500 block of Strathmore has placed a couple of dogs in her back yard pen who followed some children home from school on 1/19 Thursday afternoon. Are these from the same owner whose dogs were loose a couple of years ago?

One a female pit bull with white face and grey smokey body. She has had pups but looks like very recently weaned. UPDATE: 1/21 - the pit bull has been placed with a foster home by "Bullies" Pit Bull Rescue. Luckily, they had a foster available.

The young female Rottweiller puppy is probably 1 yr old, about 40 lbs. medium size. She escaped from her temporary home with our nice neighbor and after searching and putting up signs, no response from anyone.

Let's hope she found her way home or to a new family. Tammy had a friend who had volunteered to give her a new forever home, but she jumped the fence before she could get there. If you see her again, please contact Petwatch at 972-305-5210.

German Shepherd found

Carol on Lanett Cir has found a young female shepherd,collar,no tags, who followed her home from disc golf park. People there said she had been in park all day. She has a great disposition. Please call Carol at 214-340-6381 if you know anything about this dog.

Two large dogs found on Hackney

Two large male dogs followed Cynthia to her home on Hackney while she was walking this morning. One is a younger, jet-black lab mix and the other is blonde and tan. The lighter colored dog is wearing a collar, but no tags. The dogs are is good condition, friendly, and well trained -- obviously someone's pets.

Teresa in the 9100 block of Rolling Rock. had 2 dogs jump into her daughter's car when she came home from work on Feb 16th. (very friendly pups). We can't keep them here much longer.
