German Shepherd seen on Grenadier today

Judy reports that the German Shepherd who has been seen in our neighborhood for several days is a pure bred female. Her collar is a faded red color. She was on Grenadier today, is thin and probably hungry and thirsty. Since the dog is rather skittish, it may take some food to coax her in a yard. Baked chicken or dog food would probably do the trick. We have not had any reports of the dog being aggressive, but please be careful if you try to approach her.

If anyone should capture the dog, please call Kathryn at 214-349-4641 and she will pick her up and take her to a foster home.

Wandering Dog

The Petwatch Hotline has received multiple calls about the tan boxer/possibly pitbull terrier mix wandering around the neighborhood the past several weeks.

The dog is quite friendly, loves to play with other dogs, but contines to evade our helpful neighbors trying to contain him in their yard; he is quite the escape artist. We have offers of folks willing and wanting to give this pup a permanent home.

Missing Pets

7:30 pm Tuesday, 6/8, a report of 2 pit bulls, one dark brown and the other dark beige with white chest reported in the 9200 block of Rolling Rock. They appear to be friendly and would sure like to be reunited with their owner.

8 - 8:30 am, Wed, 6/9, two reports of a very friendly stray black lab pup wandering from the 10700 block of Lanett Circle, Rolling Rock & McCree and Mediterranean & Bryson. He has a spiky, silver choke collar and no tags. If you are missing your pup, he's still in the area and appears to be hunting for his people.
