Our neighbor Karen saw an adult German Shepherd wandering around on corner of 9000 Block Flicker lane and Pelican (behind HME School). Looked to be older, moving slow, or could have been injured. Had usual tan and black coloring and looked a little thin. Looked to be wearing a faded pink collar. spotted at 7 am, April 10, 2012.
Jason on Flicker Lane found a 6-7 month old lab mix - mostly black, with a brown belly & brown "eyebrows" in front of his home on Tuesday, March 15. If you know anything about this pup, please contact Petwatch at 972-305-5210.

We've had numerous reports of the stray brown and white male boxer/pit bull mix that's been roaming our neighborhood for about the last month. This dog is very friendly around other dogs, but skittish around people. He likes to follow neighbors and their pets while they are out walking. Several neighbors have left food out for him and others have tried to lure them into their yards. However, he's been a really good escape artist and has managed to get out of these yards.
Good news -- one of our neighbors on Flicker is willing to adopt this pup. However, we need to capture him and get him into a secure area. If you see him again, please contact Petwatch at 972-305-5210. Several neighbors are assisting with the capture of this pup and any reports of his location would be very helpful.
Carey reported seeing a stray male pit bull in the 11000 block of Listi last night. The pup was brown and very shy, and had no collar or tags.
Roberta on Middleknoll saw the large beige and large black dogs again last Friday. Several neighbors have reported these pets and we believe that they belong to someone in the neighborhood, and get out of their yard fairly frequently.
Karen on Paddock Circle reported seeing a reddish brown male boxer on Wednesday. We believe that this is the same dog who has also been reported previously.

Roberta on Middleknoll reported seeing two large dogs on Friday afternoon. One looked like a solid black lab and the other was a large, dark-beige dog. They were walking towards Bryson. She's seen them both before, but doesn't know if they belong to someone in our neighborhood.
Karen on Flicker reported seeing a young pit bull or pit bull mix on Sunday morning. The dog was brown with a bobbed tail and was wearing a pink collar, but no tags. The dog was skittish, so Karen could not get too close to her.
Neither dog was reported again, so let's hope they are both back safely at home.
Shannon reports seeing a boxer in the yard on the NE corner of Rolling Rock and McCree. She followed him for several blocks and alleys, but couldn’t get him to come to her. He was male, brown, floppy ears, not neutered. This may be the same boxer that LeeAnn reported seeing on Wed. 8/18.

Terry saw a small (about 15 pounds), white, long-haired male dog on Grenadier heading towards Cactus on Friday evening. He was not wearing a collar and when Terry tried to approach him, he ran away.

Kathryn on Quail Run reported seeing a medium-sized pit bull mix in the school yard on Tuesday evening. She couldn't tell if the dog had a collar or not. Several of her neighbors have reported seeing a similar dog on Flicker.
LeeAnn on Shagrock reported seeing a brown male boxer on Eden Roc at Mediterranean while she was walking on Wed morning. The dog was very friendly and followed her home, but ran away when she tried to get him into her back yard. He was not wearing a collar.

Judy on Villa Haven has reported that a tall, lanky, light orange striped cat has been in her area for several weeks. She originally thought that he belonged to someone, as he's very friendly and likes to be petted. However, he's gotten really thin so Judy believes that he may have been abandoned or gotten lost. Michelle reports - Was driving through the L streets ( not Longmeadow but the next one) & just saw 2 dogs running loose. One was black with maybe a little white with possibly a red collar but no tag? : the other was a mixture of brown with a collar that had mayve a single tag... They were medium to large size... This was at a little after 5 pm on Fri.
Kathryn reported seeing a light colored older male lab on Cactus yesterday. She thinks he was wearing a green collar, and appeared to be slightly over-weight.
Kim on Pandora Circle reported seeing a light colored male lab on Thursday evening. David, also on Pandora Circle, saw the same dog on Friday morning, and had him in his yard, but the dog escaped. We received two calls on the PetWatch Hotline last night that a black lab mix was seen on Cactus near Flicker. Neither neighbor reported seeing a collar or tags, and the dog seemed pretty skittish. Hopefully this pup has made his way back home by now.
Kathryn called yesterday to report a stray schnauzer or schnauzer mix that was seen on Grenadier, near Cactus.
About two days ago, a long-haired black cat we've never seen before started hanging around our front yard on South Mediterranean Cir. The cat has very striking goldish-green eyes, and is either black or very dark gray. It seems to be in good shape, but is very skittish, so we don't think it's wearing a collar, but it's hard to tell through all the hair. Jere and Emily on the 9000 block of Capri Drive report "A black cat with white ruff front has appeared on our deck the last several nights and was spotted by my indoor cats through the deck windows. Last sighting Sat 2 Jan 10 0940 PM."

Shawn reported a large black dog loose on McCree on Saturday afternoon. The dog weighed at least 60 pounds and was last seen heading east on McCree.
