Coyote report: Correction

A sister of a friend called the other day and Jack took the call. He thought she said that her poodle had been out in the yard and coyotes climbed her fence, took the dog and climbed back over the fence. Apparently she was talking about someone else as I found out today that she doesn't own a dog.

Her brother lives around Spring Valley and he has a cat who came home all chewed up. They rushed it to the vet and it did survive. The vet said that it looked as if it had been attached by coyotes. Apparently something frightened them away. It's very sad to think of people losing their pets like that. Regards, Carol
