FOUND BUNNY

Joyce writes - I just picked up a large gray/tan/black rabbit from a home on Wallbrook @ Rolling Rock. They have 3 dogs in the household and couldn't keep it. The girl called and was leaving for college. She wanted the hotline number. I just said I'd come on over and get the rabbit and somehow deal with it. It's in a large dog crate on my side yard; she'd given it slivers of carrots and water. I have 3 dogs, also, but thought I could better help the animal than they could. The rabbit seems to be slightly injured. (I hope it's 'slightly.') I haven't seen it walk, but she said it was dragging a leg and was very scared of their dogs. So...I really don't know what the injury is. He seems okay, just by looking at it. She's sure it's a family pet. Their house backs up to Summer Glen Apts., so I don't know if it came from there or from down their alley...or where...?
