Yesterday was a great day!

We had two pets reunited with their families yesterday:

Shelley on Quail Run called to report her dad's missing brown and white chihuahua. We put her in touch with Jennifer on McCree, who was fostering the lost pet. There was a very happy reunion yesterday afternoon! Jennifer, thanks for taking such good care of this little lady!

Shanda called back to report that a good Samaritan in our neighborhood had found her lost Rhodesian Ridgeback and taken her to a local vet's office. Because the dog had a microchip, the vet's office was able to call Shanda and let her know that they had her pet. Another happy reunion yesterday afternoon! Thanks to the caring neighbor who delivered the dog to the vet's office and thank heaven for microchips -- they're a true godsend.
