Good News!

Tammy on Strathmore called yesterday with two success stories:

One of our neighbors found a small aquatic turtle after the heavy rains we had early last month. It was malnourished and severely dehydrated. Tammy nursed the little thing back to health -- he's now larger than a half-dollar, very strong, swims well and has a voracious appetite. Tammy released him back to the wild at the pond in Cottonwood Park in Richardson yesterday.

Tammy, thanks for saving this little guy -- he's one lucky turtle!

Tammy also found a baby bunny back in early May. We reported her as being lost, but no one ever claimed her. Tammy has been fostering the rabbit, who has doubled in size, and she has decided to adopt it. "Cindy Cinnamon" now has a brand new cage and a very loving home.
