Lost Dog and Scam notice

Judy reports - This morning I was walking my dogs and an elderly woman came up to me because her King Charles Dog, 5 years old, was missing. There are signs on the poles in the neighborhood. This lady was contacted by a black man and said he knew where the dog was. She foolishly met him at a home in the neighborhood and he took the money and said he had to get it to the guy who had the dog, naturally that never happened. I don't know the lady's name, but her phone number is 214 533 9008. She's been to the doctor, she is so upset. I told her I'd report it to the petwatch. – Folks, please be aware that scammers are out in full force this time of year. Please be careful.
