Beagle/ridgeback mix gets a new home

The beagle/ridgeback mix that Lauren was fostering on Fernald has a new home. Lauren's husband found the dog wandering in and out of traffic on Jupiter last week. Despite posting signs, putting the dog on various web sites and calling many vet's offices and animal shelters, Lauren was not able to find the owner. However, she did find a good home -- the pup is going to be a companion animal for a man who recently lost his sight. The dog is very sweet and gentle, and seems a perfect match for her new owner.
