Predator warning from the L streets

A neighbor in the L Streets reports that they have seen several deceased cats in their area who appear to have been attacked by predators -- possibly coyotes or bobcats. This is a good reminder to all of us to keep our pet cats inside from dusk to dawn, when predator activity is most common. Also, please remember to pick up pet food and bird food in your yard between these hours, and secure your garbage. Basically, do whatever is possible not to unintentionally "invite" these wild animals into your yard, where your outside pets may be placed at risk.
