White pit bull mix puppy found on Cactus

Patty on Cactus has found a female pit bill mix puppy, about 5 mos old. She was wearing a collar, with a cord tied to it, but no tags. Patty took her to the vet and she is not chipped. She's friendly, very cute, and gets along well with Patty's dogs. We need a foster home for this little girl -- Patty will be going out of town soon, and we need a temporary home for the pup. The vet said she has hookworms and a skin condition; Patty has purchased medication for her. The vet advised that the pup is not contagious and would be fine with other pets.
